I was blog hopping and stumbled upon a couple of fun sewing projects that I could do with some of my scraps. I’ve never made a crayon roll before, so I tried it, and it was fun. So I made five. Most crayon rolls are tied up with a ribbon, but I figure that most kids don’t know how to tie things so I added a button with an elastic loop instead. (if anyone knows how to sew on an elastic cord without breaking the elastic, I would love a tip.)  The tutorial can be found at Chocolate on my Cranium.

Hopefully my nieces will enjoy these. I made a quick little pair of kimono baby shoes so their little brother wouldn’t feel left out.
