Last night I cuddled up on the couch sewing these sexy hexies while watching Elizabeth Gaskell’s North and South from start to finish. Yep, all four hours. Totally bringing me back to my college days when my roommates and I would watch this during finals week (of all times).

Isn’t he dreamy?
It must have been the romantic style of writing in Charles Dicken’s David Copperfield that merely wetted my romantic appetite to put me in the mood for this movie. (I’m not really the chick flick type). However, when I am in the mood for a chick flick, I want a good one, and this one sits untouched as having the best kissing scene…ever.
Unfortunately, while I did enjoy the kiss, it only made me realize, that “oh yeah, I won’t be getting one tonight.”
Thus on the menu for next time is something a little more like Braveheart or Ironman.
p.s. Ferd, I bet they don’t have cookie dough ice cream in Nigeria. :P

I’ve never heard of this movie. I’ll have to check it out.
ooo! i need hexies!! maybe i’ll start that now too!
Look back! Look back at me! It doesn’t get better than that! What is Ferd doing in Nigeria?
Diane, I loved your last 3 posts!!! You are so cute! Seriously, I am glad that North and South Kept you company. It is the best movie ever… and whats great about it, is that it is not some fluffy chick flick and Margaret is the best character ever! If you get bored, you are more than welcome to come over for dinner or hangout. Don’t get me wrong, hot dogs are yummy… but if you feel like some company and a meal let us know :)
I watched that movie with my mom and sisters! very good movie- you are very talented with your sewing abilities. I love seeing what you can put together.
