A few nights ago, we decided to try out this new burger joint in town called SmashBurger. I’m not sure what was so appealing about it other than being the newest joint in town. After trying a classic smash burger, I’m sorry to say that the burger really isn’t all the impressive. Both Diane and I thought it lacked flavor and for a minimum price of $5 (just the burger–no fries/drink included), it’s not worth the fanfare. It’s not “the best burger you have ever tasted” as they claim, but rather an pretty ordinary Angus burger. I did enjoy the Haagen-Daz milkshake somewhat, though. If you’re still interested, feel free to give it a shot, but don’t expect it to be amazing. :) On the plus side, the ingredients did taste pretty fresh.
Good to know. I was curious about that place. I always like to hear what other people thing before I actually spend my own money. Sorry you had to waste yours!
Hey, do you have Mighty Fine Burgers in Houston? Those are pretty good and I heard Rudy’s owns that chain – not sure if that is true but would be curious on your opinion if you have one.
I was wondering if that was any good. Thanks for being the “guinea pigs’!
I dont know why I am commenting on this post because I dont like hamburgers. But I was wondering what you have been up to. Your trips looked like so much fun, I’m jealous. So are you still working at that same place? How is your apartment? I am thinking of getting a different job, and we also just signed a lease on a townehome and we are so excited. Hope everything is going good with you two, and you are loving Texas.
I haven’t heard of Mighty Fine Burgers, so I think it’s just an Austin thing.
so speaking of burgers. the last 2 times i’ve gone to in-n-out, i threw up after. ummmm. i’m pretty sad about that. it used to be my favorite burger joint.
