OK, so I know we all have a good laugh when people come up with countless variations of our last name. Lots of people think it’s strange, but I try to assure them that while it may be uncommon in the US, it really is common in Crotia like a “Smith” or “Jones” in here (this is a wild assertion that I have just made up–it could be true, but I really don’t know). Anyway, Mom just sent us an article about the Permanent Representative of Crotia to the United Nations at Geneva. Guess what her last name is: MLADINEO. Even though this really doesn’t prove that Mladineo is popular, we’re making the circuits at the UN! :)
Sweet, you made it to my hometown Kennewick. That’s where I grew up. I am so jealous because we haven’t made it there yet this summer. I’m still in the job market as well. Good Luck!
Je m’appelle Mladineo et je suis français,(Je suis le seul Mladineo en France, mais j’ai beaucoup de parents en Croatie qui portent ce nom.)
De quelle région de Croatie est originaire votre famille?
I’m not sure exactly what part of Croatia my family is from. I’ll have to get back to you. Where in France do you live? I was recently in Switzerland (primarily Geneva) and we visited several French cities nearby.
